Blog of the week 15: Darren Sidnick

I know you’ll be delighted that BOTW is back.

This week’s BOTW award goes to Darren Sidnick of Ufi, and I have chosen to highlight him because he disagreed with me in a March posting: Mobile learning gets to the (tipping) point.

Disagreement that leads to civilised discussion and greater understanding is a good thing.

Plus, Darren speaks from an interesting positino and his blog makes good reading.

As he only started his blog in March, I’ll only highlight two of Darren’s posts that I have enjoyed recently:

I like research-backed comment rather than vacuous opinion, so his posting questioning whether lower-skilled learners were actually harder to reach interested me.

I like enthusiasm, and it comes gushing out of Darren’s blog. Check his post on Moodle, for an example.

As Head of Innovation & Research at Ufi learndirect, Darren should have plenty to add to the industry, so we look forward to hearing more from him.

Mind you, just what is on Darren’s personal profile? When I attempted to read it, I was told by a utility on my laptop that:

Content Lock has barred this service because this site is rated 18.

Wow! Darren, tell us more!
